Discussion of AMD Initiatives
The members of the Asset Managers Division were officially welcomed to be members of the BMA in October, 2005. The AMD had its first Executive Committee Meeting in Washington DC on November 8, 2005. The purpose of this session is to give an update to the members of the AMF on the current agenda items of the AMD, i.e. Longer Term Swaps Trading and Processing Solutions, Pension Reform Legislation, Industry-wide preparations for Avian Flu Pandemic, and Best Execution

Measuring Operation Performance in the E-Processing World
The presentation will focus on the evolving value proposition of e-processing and where the buy-side stands on measuring its impact on operations performance. Recently TradeWeb conducted a study to better understand the benefits of integrating an OMS into TradeWeb's trading and trade processing workflow. The findings of this study will be used to illustrate the value achieved through integration. It will also provide some insight on how asset managers measure and evaluate operational performance.
