Welcome and Introduction by AMF Chair Julie Warren of New York Life Investment Management and John Gallagher of BlackRock. Ms. Warren and Mr. Gallagher will introduce the Conference by sharing some initial insights on operations that were realized through cross-industry discussions at The Bond Market Association's Fixed Income Operations Conference in Ponte Vedra, FL in November 2005.

Nicholas Botta of Morgan Stanley will lead a discussion with representatives from the sellside community who will share their insights on their organizational asset-class structure and on an industry trend that suggests a movement toward a multi-asset class approach.

Asset managers are seeking improved communications, greater automation and a commitment from their broker/dealers to build a strategic partnership. To build this partnership, broker/dealers need to understand the operational nuances of their buyside clients. AMF Vice-Chair Jason Jesner of Credit Suisse Asset Management will serve as moderator of the panel. A diverse group of Buy-side panelists will discuss how they are organized to resolve day to day issues as well as meet strategic challenges.
